    im not sure. it kinda looks like a snakehead to me. it is in the display tank at the Bass Pro Shop in Ashland Va.

    If it were a snakehead that would be the only fish in the tank. :)

    Even so if it was a snakehead it will kill everything in the tank. It looks like it has some whiskers, that's why I asked if it was a catfish. I know snakeheads don't have them.

    Guessing some sort of catfish, was this taken at some sort of zoo?
    (if so, they typically have signs telling you what is in the tank)

    it was taken at a Bass Pro Shop. Its in their display tank.

    i did a little research and couldn't find much. need a good shot of it's fins and tail.

    looks like a Burbot, or some breed of catfish... what area of the world is this pro shop located??
