I have these things in my tanks that look alot like snails, but are kinda flat, and seem sort of... worm like I guess? The shell seems attached to the back and are impossiable to get off the glass (didn't try to use a razor, it'd work I'm betting.) I'm not sure what they are, or where it is they came from. Any ideas guys?

They range in size, from the size of sand to about the size of 2 rice together, side-by-side.

They also have mouths, and what looks like eyes.

I'll try to get a photo, but the big ones are in my Triops Spawning tank and it's really green water. Might not show well.

Just do a google search for copepod and you will find all you need.

It's definitely not a copepod they move when bothered. You little friend is none other than a harmless freshwater limpet
