Glowlight Tetra Spinning Around in Circles

    no idea what caused it, they all look the same to me so i guess i'll just keep an eye out on all of the fish

    thanks :) stress would make sense becaues of the water change from the day before i noticed the fish, im glad i set that sick tank up the day before lol guess it's meant to be to have 5 tanks at the moment :) i needed one anyways with how many fish/frogs/toads i have

    it was evening/night and it was spinning/sinking to the ground when i went to bed at 10:30 that night, i woke up in the morning, and it was fine

    oh and did i mention at the time it was swimming on it's back, never thought fish could do that :D

    defin. sounds like it was max stressed. I'd be double testing that water to be on the extra safe side regardless if he's doing well today.

    will do, i'm going to start doing a 10% water change every day on that tank as well, i think the tank might be cursed, it's the same one that had the fungus outbreak, but i cleaned everything out with bleach to try to get rid of it and that was like last week or the end of the week before, so maybe the new cycle system is finnishing?

    Without testing you won't know. Test it and post the results when you get a chance...don't forget to tell us which test kit your using (ie. 5-in-1 dip strips, bottles with test tubes).

    i've been using the marine test kit for both tanks, i left my tank alone yesterday and today, i'll test it again tomorrow

    it might not be from stress because my glow lights the go dim and float at the bottom spining and twitching i think its to hide from prey in the wild

    interesting, weird only how one did it, wouldn't the movement attract the prey?

    yep, I would defin. think so. That is a "wounded" type response they are doing (the circling and laying on the side and what not).

    sooo strange though how it appears fine, something might still be wrong with it inside, that night i noticed two glowlights eating some algae wafers, don't think that would have done anything

    nope, mine munch algae wafers when they get the chance (it's dog pile up for them in my tank).

    hahaha lol i fed the alage wafers tonight, cories went crazy over them, im sure though with them being hungry since i still only feed now all of the fish once every other day, and the fish and corries eat all the bloodworms so at least there hungry when i do feed them to finnish it

    WHy only once every other day? Just curious.
    I feed SMALL meals twice a day..sometimes 3 times if I have lots of preggos.
