    I don't hand spawn any of my fish. I just condition the parents let them spawn naturally. Most people who hand spawn their goldfish are looking for the much higher hatch rate that it results in, Since I raise a limited number of fish I don't have a need for a thousand fry each spawn.

    Just picking some goldies for the Atlanta show (September 18 & 20, 2009)
    This will be my last show this year so I would like to finish with a good show.
    When I get them all picked I'll give you an advanced viewing since I don't have any competitor that post here.

    wow cool !! my daughter loves the black and white ones...lol she wants to put them in her 10 g !!!lol now look what you started !! hehhehe nothing like your goldfish in any of the store down here !!

    You just kind of develop a eye or feel for which fish will show well with which judges(American or Oriental) then there is a certain amount of luck involved as well. The two winners from the Chicago show will go if they are in good condition and the fish that I was sure that would do well at Chicago but won jack

    I was leaning toward the monster lcd tv...<--doesn't really watch it anyways...but then I think a few others in my house may lynch me. haha!

    Annual Atlanta Koi and Goldfish Show
    Location: Coastal Pond Supply 2101 Tucker Industrial Road Tucker, GA 30083 800-782-6179
    Show Hours: 9/18– Friday(set-up) 9am-5pm 9/19– Saturday 9am-5pm 9/20 – Sunday 9am-2pm (10a-12p Judges Discuss Koi)
    Hotel Accommodations: Preferred-rate accommodations are offered at the Courtyard Atlanta Northlake , 4083 Lavista Road, Tucker, GA 30084 – the rates are $94 with the Breakfast Buffet for a King or Double (2 Queen Beds) (no pets allowed, unless they are assistance dogs). The rate without breakfast is $84. Any reservations made after August 27th will be booked at regular room rates.
