Help Needed on 30 gallon Reef Tank Equipment

    Thank you. The canister is a little to expensive for me thats why I am thinking to get hob for now. People say aquaclears are the best?!

    I dunno, I have both an ac110 and emperor 400 on the back of my tank.

    I prefer the emperor 400 because I think it has more media options.
    I currently use the emperor 400 for Purigen in both sides (seperate the cartridge holder and put 1 piece in the front slot and 1 piece in the rear slot rather than sandwiching it together...and put the purigen between the two).

    The ac110 does create ALOT of flow though...even on the lowest setting.
    I guess I'm just miffed cuz I went through two of the bio-max bags and BOTH broke open and I had to attempt to reach into the tank and remove them all. Grr!
