    a fish with no eyes.... How long youthink he'll last..??

    not long he will find it hard to find food and stuff

    lol .. he was one of the piranha i got in a shipment. and the others ate his eyes out.. he was about dead but got him in tank and he was doing better.. i thought they ate him causei didn't see him... buttt...... i found him swimming around in my sump tank this morning. lol

    Do piranhas normally eat the eyes out of their tank-mates?

    I wouldn't say normally but its not uncommon... this happened during shipment.. so they other 4 probably got hungry and when one took a plug, the rest did..

    but if they go unfed, yeah they will nip fines, scales, the body, eyes,etc. .. just so ya know... I keep mine fed. i don't abuse my fish... all my fish are healthy and have alltheir fins and scales. :D

    I had one (tropical fish) with 1 missing eye...lasted about 2 months.

    My Africans ate my Redtail Shark today. Came home from work and his head was gone. Guess I wont mix those again. They have been in the same tank since I started keeping Cichlids. Kind of strange.

    they just get hungry and eat.. thats it.
