What would you guys consider as good tankmates for a Jag. Tank is 120g, will have rock work for hiding places and some plants. I was thinking Convicts or maybe Dempseys, Firemouths, or Salvinis. Realize the Jag would probably be much bigger than my other choices. Very much aggression?

Don't have him yet. Don't even have the tank setup and cycled yet. I was thinking of getting a small Jag maybe 2-3" long along with the rest of the cichlids around the same size to start them all off at the same time.

no, I don't have him yet but I assume he would eat a good cichlid pellet food, bloodworms etc.

if you do a male jag, it would be the only fish in the tank, unless you have a breeding pair, with a female you have more options with what to do. I would suggest getting the jag and tank mates at or around the same time.

almost all the large SA/CA cichlids are great parents, even to the point of banging the glass to keep you away from them. Just make sure that you are willing to devote a tank to one or two fish if you happen to get a male! I love my female, she is queen of the tank right now, but the Festae male is outgrowing her and starting to dominate. You guys should see his dominant colors in person, stunning! I tried to take some pics, but it just doesnt do him justice.
