Produces and maintains crystal clear aquarium water without affecting pH. Works without clogging fish's gills, suffocating them, or causing invertebrates to close up. Completely safe for all marine fish and invertebrates. It uses a blend of high tech polymers that safely flocculate any algae, dirt, bacteria, or other water clouding particles. Contains no phosphate, nitrate, or silicate to cause undesirable algae or slime growth. Not an algaecide and 100% biodegradable. 16 oz treats 4,700 gallons.

Directions for Use:
Dilute one drop of Pro•Clear Freshwater per gallon of aquarium capacity or one teaspoon (1 capful or 5 ml) per 50 gallons of aquarium capacity in a cup of water and evenly disperse throughout the aquarium. If the aquarium water is extremely cloudy, you can double the dose. Do NOT use more than two doses per week.

Precipitated particles should be siphoned out or removed by a properly working mechanical filter and a fine filtering medium, such as filter floss. Allow 8 hours before siphoning. Repeat in 24 hours, if necessary. Operate aquarium lights for a minimum of 2 hours after use and provide good circulation and aeration during use.

Considerations for Use:
If the aquarium has a white, cloudy appearance or is heavily loaded with fish and plants and has not had proper water changes, use Kent Poly•Ox first to lower the dissolved organic load in the system. Then, wait 4 hours before using this product. For best results, use a fine filter floss or pad filter and force water through it. Dirt and cloudiness-causing particles will collect on this filter and can then be discarded.

Deionized water and polyelectrolytes.

Pro•Clear Marine

Directions for Use:
Dilute one drop of Pro•Clear Marine per gallon of aquarium capacity or 5 ml (1 capful = 5 ml on the 8 oz or 16 oz containers or 10 ml on the 64 oz container) per 50 gallons of aquarium capacity in a cup of water and evenly disperse throughout the aquarium. If the aquarium is extremely cloudy, you can double the dose. Do NOT use more than two doses per week.

NOTE: Do NOT use Pro•Clear Marine in freshwater.

I picked this up to give it a try. I've used Seachem Clarity in the past and had good results. Kent Pro Clear actually seems to work better than Seachem Clarity. I think it clears the water a tiny bit more and clears it faster. Also, if I remember correctly, it takes less product than Clarity recommends per gallon. Something I found odd is that it says not to use it more than twice a week. I believe the Seachem Clarity is about $10 for 250ml. I picked up a 16oz bottle Kent Pro Clear for $11 from Drs Foster and Smith.
