The fish in picture #3 is the one with the HITH (Hole in the Head) and is being treated at the time being the one that had me woried is back to the front of the tank and roaming for food... who would have thought.... what a change from yesterday! This SUCKS!

    I like them all! :)

I kind of lean to the White Diamond a bit that or the blue snakeskin (picture 2)... I honestly dont find the Snakeskin strains as appealing as many people do... and really dont like the red ones...

Here are the strains of the Discus Cooltow listed in order as they appear and to the best of my knowledge as I study wild strains more:
    1 - Red Melon
2 - Blue Snakeskin (this is an interesting mix of a snakeskin and a Red Turquoise - on a side note a Mayan Jade like mine is a side strain of the Red Turquoise... The difference in the Mayan Jade and the Red Turquoise is Mayan Jades have green displayed in their blue coloration a bit as well... just a FYI for those that wonder)
3 - I could be wrong but this looks like an Albino Snakeskin
    4 - Snakeskin
    5 - Another Snakeskin
6 - Leopard Snakeskin (note the spots that look like donuts)
7 - Looks like a White Diamond... BUT I see blue in it around the finnage... I would still call it a White Diamond (APD - Albino Pearl Diamonds are really one of the only PURE white Discus)
8 - Blue Diamond - A VERY nice specimen but one of the lowest priced and most common of the Discus Strains (usually 3-4" sell for $30 in the Discus communities... NOT at stores though....)

I got 30 or 40 pic of Discus from that show post a my web site. I don't pretend to understand how they class these fish for a show, but there were 30+ classes

I have a pair... here are the 2 fish that paired. I will wait for them to spawn and then remove them from the display tank to the 30 gallon by themselves...

Here are the 2 newly weds:
Because of the sensitive nature of the situation I AM NOT going to take a picture of it... I am trying to disturb them as LITTLE as possible!

    oh ok... thanks cooltow1! :D
i think i visited all of the mentioned fish shops before ^^
but i think the LFS nearer to where i stay sells a wider variety of fish, and are selling at a lower price :)
