Separate them for a few days? See if that helps

I have a new male again for her... he looks JUST like her! Same size and all.... I put an eggcrate divider in the tank to let him acclimate before mixing the 2... She was a bit mean to him so I felt this would be the safest way to do it.

The male that was with her is now with the female in the 20 gallon tank.

The 2 separate... I have the divider in so she cant mess with him yet as he is still stressed from the move...

Thank you... I have to get another picture... he is out and about in the tank and showing off all of his colors now... maybe a bit later I will try to get a pic of him to do him better justice!

The one on the left I have grown out from about two inches... The one in the right is the new male... If she will leave him alone or he will stand up for himself I will be happy.... I REALLY want these two to pair up and spawn...

lol sounds like my clowns, i don't plan on breeding them or anything. But their supposed to be a pair as that's what i bought them as, and the female has been totally beeting up the male, i guess this is normal for clowns. But i wish my male would just stand up for himself as well especially since he's have the size as the female

I think I found the idea of ideas... I switched the pairs of fish in their tank so the 2 blues are playing nice in the 20 gallon and the 2 reds are more active in the 30 and playing nice....

Why didnt I think of moving the females before??????

I didn't say anything about goldfish, but now that you mentioned it they are much better behaved.

These 2 are still liplocking and bickering... I have caught both of them the past 2 days cleaning that filter intake I have in for them to spawn on....

I think these will be my first to spawn of this arrangement of fish....
