well it seems your off to a bad start with the sw tank.
if i was you i would setup a 10 gal. qt tank and place the blenny in there and use some mechaline green...i'm not sure if i spelt that right...lol.....anyways while the blenny is getting treated you can raise the main tank's temp to 86 degrees and let that ich die....it should take a week and a half.....

Yeah. LoL Not a very good start at all. I'm going to continue to treat the tank for a few days and keep an eye on the blenny.

Well, I'm still treating the tank. The blenny is still fine and I've been feeding him immune boosting food and brine shrimp.

You'll all be happy to know that I plan on setting up a quarantine tank for the new fish I'll be getting soon.

I'm sure I will. LoL Plus the place I got my blenny from has much better/healthier fish then where I got those damsels from. I shouldn't have any more problems, hopefully.

From my experience lowering the temp is not going to cure ick but just stress the fish out more and cause them to get sicker.....feed the garlic and get a cleaner shrimp or two.

I lowered it to slow down the cycle process of the parasite, not to kill it.

it's better to raise the temp and speed up the process while you treat it.....
