    I have a few more questions. has anyone heard of this person on aquabid.     This guy claims he is one of the main reasons we have these fish here.

    Yes, his are pure. If his are hybrids they will be say it.

    He's not the main reason. He did help bring some over at one point but he didn't discover them and he wasn't the only one to bring some to the US.
