My 55 gallon African show tank

    I have a DIY Tank Stand project I did for a MUCH larger tank in the DIY section.

    The one thing about a 55 that makes building your own stand harder than other tanks is the tiny footprint from front to back.... You could always build a pedestal for a base to make the bottom a bit bigger than the tank.... think of a bar that has a footrest made of wood on it.

    I do like your rockwork. I agree with everyone else about the stress on that table.... it would be horrible to see that table give way under all that weight. Rocks add a lot of weight faster than even the water :confused:

    thanks everyone! im not to worried about asthetics. Its all about function! Im okay with a little paint and thats it!
