    She's pretty! I figured that's what the females looked like. Usually the males of any species (fish or otherwise) are bigger and prettier (longer fins, more feathers, brighter colors, etc).

    I found a new pet store in my town (which was a huge surprise 'cuz my town is so tiny)! And they sell bettas! And they are going to ask their supplier if they have any crimson or steel females! And they have a GORGEOUS blue and red double-tail male that I want *SO* bad...and they have an Eclipse 12 for $80 that I am *SO* getting when my taxes come in next week. The same tank is $130 at Petsmart! :-O
