    I don't know about the seashells (i always thought the calcium in the shells caused ph to got up?).
    Depends on the plants. At a minimum I'd do some Seachem Flourish since it's really easy to dose 1x week.
    If you don't have excel sensitive plants such as crypts, vals, etc...then you could do flourish excel every other day per bottle directed dosage.

    For root feeders (ie crypts) you can do some root tabs about 2" away from the roots (beneath the substrate) and the roots will grow towards it since gravel isn't a nutrient rich substrate.

    i got star grass, java moss, java fern and something else and the banana plant. got new 10 pictures up to.

    cool. My banana plant has taken over the 90...massive leaves all the way at the top of the tank!

    Stargrass I had a while back and got rid off..took off to fast (weed) for me to deal with.

    Moss, the bristlenoses attack along with the sae's before it can grow really well.

    They do way better in groups of at least 3
