    i posted a add wanting one for 20 and heres my reply

    Hi I saw your ad, and I have a 55 gallon tank and stand, but no hood and the trim on the top part has melted spots where it was used as a reptile cage by previous owners (I traded a GameCube for it thinking I would use it for a reptile cage because they said it had a screen top but the screen top had a large hole in it) but it is able to hold water, I cleaned it up pretty good today and filled with water. I just thought I'd offer it up for your $20. I can send pics if you are interested in it.

    You said it's off by 5 and the tank was 55 right? That means its 50 gal :O

    I think THEY are wrong. Probably didn't measure the frame and did inside measurements.
    48x13x20 is 55g
