i started out with a overstocked 20 gallon 3 young angels 3 giant danios (also small)...soo today i went to my lfs,we will call it.not sooo pet smart.. i asked if i could trade the 3 danios in for cory cats.the girls said i could.bought 3 of them brought them home..went back with the danios to get store credit, there was now a man there.he wouldnt let me trade the fish even tho i told him the girl said it was ok..now i get home and have no place to put them but back in the 20 with the others.

it gets worse !!! after 2 hours fish sitting,to make sure no one was eating each other i had to take my daughter to the dentist...took her and came home to find my hubby at our tank...i thought the worst as i hadnt told him about the newcomers.so i look in my tank and there are now 2 other fish on top of the new corys !!!!hubby thought he was doing nice by buying them for the kids ! he dont even know the name of them or how big they will get!! they are a pretty lil fish. a light orange with a redish pattern thru them.he said the guy told him the name but he dont remember what it was..something with a G?!!

Can you get or find a picture of the fish?

Also, Petsmart DOES NOT take fish... you have to find a small retailer near you to do that (aka: Local Fish Store or LFS) NOT a corporate chain store (ie: Petsmart or PetCo)

see. I like the cheaper fish...I can afford more of them..have a greater variety for tank mates...I've tried other fish, but I keep coming back to the freshwater community type.

I cant disagree at all... I pick the pain in the A!! fish to keep... And they wont even spawn! Sometimes I wonder... sometimes I wonder if it is really worth it...

I would do 20% water changes with the stock you have 2 times a week... you should not have a problem for a while

    No problem ;)
