My Planted 29

    Finally tried to get a couple of pictures .. all of the plants you see are 1-4 weeks in the tank. Hoping the wisteria in the left corner will take off and fill the empty space in that corner.

    That looks great ! I love that piece of driftwood on the right side of the tank.

    Yeah, mismatched driftwood is what you get when you can't find any locally, and take the luck of the draw with an online store :) I ordered a medium and a small piece, and got 2 larges - so I guess I can't complain too much. Hopefully when the wisteria grows in it won't look so goofy. :D

    i recommend getting rid of the fugly gravel and adding some real plant growing soil, but nice!!!

    Yea, I know. The kids picked it out. Maybe the plants will grow in more and cover it up lol.

    I like the tank. It is very pretty and the driftwood looks great in it.

    Awe, being the kids picked it how could you hide it? I know my lil nephew gets the biggest kick out of tellin' his mom that HE setup the tank..and he's 9 :) And of course him setting up the tank has to do with him picking a few fish and a few plants! :p

    ok no of you have had anything OFF in the tank no sunken ship? no bubbling chest? no piece of galss that said nofishing? come one now the kids picked it out they must have liked it this hobby is a live and learn deal what works for one surely doesnt work for all.

    wow, lots of controversy over my funky blue gravel ... I love it! ;)

    BTW, my youngest has been nagging me for some time for one of those sunken battleships, I may have to get one for the playroom tank ;)
