My planted 55

    This is my planted 55. I am kind of a newbe but have had it for about 9 months. any info would be great. tell me what you think.

    Looks nice. I'd place some taller plants in there toward the pack and get some smaller grass types to spread around the tank.

    Thanks, I was thinking of buying a large amazon sword for the back right.

    Hey what can you tell me about lighting. what does the T mean in light classification

    I have no idea what the "T" stands for. Someone else may know. I always use standard florescent or compact florescents.

    i would suggest some moss for the 1/4 of the block there would make a niffty cave looking deal.

    And now for the million dollar question.....................................................
    the "T" in T5 means the shape of the bulb...so actually its a tubular5 bulb........now what did i win for answering the million dollar question???

    Looks very promising, I'm new to the planted tanks too!
    I would go for something tall, maybe some ital. vals in the back corners and the moss would be awesome growing on the rock as a cave (as already rec.)
    Would love to see some picts as it progresses ;)

    looking at this after I've already seen the sword in your tank, I really like that you added the sword, it kind of made a center piece plant for you tank.
