How big was your fish? That is a small tank! (9 Gallons US) If he was too large, it may have been not enough water changes and your Nitrates were too high.

Tankmates? Decorations? Pre-filter on the filter intake? You are not describing the circumstances that could have lead to this! Like going to the doctor if you dont say why your back hurts, what you did, they will have a very hard time knowing if it is bone, muscle, tendons.... And we dont have the tools doctors have to search. You HAVE to describe EVERYTHING that may have lead to it.

    Re: please can u help

Tetras are carnivorous (omnivorous to be exact) and can eat a dead carcass. I would bet it was them that ate some at the Shark. Kind of hard to think though that they could eat through a freshly dead fish.... usually they hit the more decomposing fish that are softer (tetras really dont have much for teeth to shred.)

What about the filter? How big is it and does it have a guard on the intake.... Could the shark fit into the intake? How big was the Shark. Are there any decorations that it could have got stuck in and killed itself trying to get out (caves, ships, etc...)

PLEASE answer all of the questions that I asked. Dont leave one unanswered if you want us to answer your overall question of what happened!
