I want to buy a damsel fish, clown fish and a bi color dottyback. Can all 3 live together and if so should i add them all at same time and will they eat clean up crew such as snaills and hermit crabs or normal crabs ?

Yes they can be kept together (assuming your tank is big enough) and yes it would be best to all all of them at the same time. Nope, the crabs and snails should be fine.

That should be fine. Keep in mine damsels will be very aggressive as they grow. You might want to increase your live rock to provide more territory.
