Cool! Thought I'd show ya the link since some weren't even $2.00
Ps. Be careful on the weight of rocks...i always worry about cracking the bottom of a tank regardless of substrate (that stuff gets heavy).
I know plenty of people who use light diffuser to defer the rockwork weight in their cichlid tanks.

okay. I've seen those..they're pretty heavy. You'd be better off baking them if they pass the fizzy test.

ok, and since there there, i'll try the testing during the week if its not raining, and i'll have to try and grab some on the bottom since they seem to be smaller and not to heavy

hammer? Break a piece off one of the top ones that would be easy to reach...test it..if its good...then you can go to the basin (or break the large ones to smaller portions).
Ps. if you bake afterwards..let those bad boys sit for several hours to cool.
Hot rocks make hot water..cold rocks will drop your water temp just as fast as hot ones will raise it.

oh, do you think the trains would affect the rocks in any way, like pollute them or anything

Rearranging/Redecorating Brackish Tanklol i will, those same rocks have been there for at least 20 years, they have never changed since my parents moved into this house. And it's even illegal to go on the dirt path, but people still do, no cops ever come, besides, if they do pass, i'll only take a few

i'm sure trains do (fuel)...but boiling/baking will remove all impurities.

oh, I see...just make sure they're stable (rock formations) or else they can topple and kill your inhabitants.
