now that's new to me, a fish eating itself to death.
Granted, I've personally had many bloated fish over the years (from being piggys too)...but never any die yet as the result of overeating.

What a way to go! Apparently he wanted on his tombstone "pleco tab eater". lol!

Well, it looks like all the fry but two are Orange Purls. One is half blue half orange and one strangely turned out to be yellowish. *Shrugs* Have to wait and see what he turns out to look like as he gets bigger.

This is what my tank has been reduced to... Everything jammed into a 29 gallon tank until my 65 gallon replacement comes in.

And have a look at this pretty amazing picture I managed to take. I just listed him and his females on AquaBid if anyone's interested.

More fry in the tank today. Not sure who's dropping them but they all appear to be blues.

Yesterday my fish had labored breathing, due to the tank now cycling. Last night I poured in 250ml of Safe Start (Treats 75 gallons) and this morning to my surprise everyone's acting normal. That really surprises me considering the amount of fish I have squeezed into this 29 gallon tank at the moment. When I run to PetSmart this afternoon before work I'm going to pick up one more bottle while it's on sale to use when my replacement tank comes in, just to be safe.

The tank is all set up again, running and crystal clear. The plants need a little rearranging once they recover from being in a tank with horrible light and no substrate. After that I'll move them around a bit.

Updated picture is in the first post of this thread.

Are all the plants real (most look plastic to me)?
or maybe it's just my eyes?

Only 3 are fake, the two in the front corners and one in the back.

Added what few Endler's I have left to this tank so they weren't neglected any longer by being kept in the garage.
