    Otto Cats
I have a tank with a few otto cats and im thinking of adding 2 bichirs into that tank with them. How likely is it that the ottos become food for those bichirs?

Sizes of fish will be helpful with questions like these!

Otto cats are very small. I have one in my Endler tank. A bichirs would very likely make a meal out of him.

Maz size for Ottos are around 1.5 inch which isnt big at all. Bichirs can grow to be more than 12 inches. The Ottos are a lot faster than bichirs though and my tanks is filled with plants. Should i risk it? The bichirs are around 4-5 inches atm.

    That's not something I'd risk.

How much is the average price for an otto cat? After answering that in your head think about this: Would you throw that amount of money into a fire?

But seriously, it might work for a while, but in the long term thats and expensive snack.

Ottos cost around 3$ here but I'll put bichirs with feeders around the size of those ottos for 4-6 weeks first to see how fast they disappear. I'll prob try to always have 3-5 small feeders in the tank at all times.

feeders=disease unless your growing them yourself. Even then, they offer little to no real nutritional value to the fish. There are so many better options at your disposal.

Those are another option for the bichirs if they decide to snack on live fish and will hopefully leave the ottos alone. I got my feeders at a bait shop, still not that cold yet.

you mean you dont go fishing in your tanks with barbless hooks?

In all seriousness, I have been thinking about feeding my fish night crawlers, can you get them from the store or what?

No idea. I've never looked. If you want to drive about two and a half hours I can tell you where a worm breeder lives. :)
