Outdoor pond into saltwater tank?

    Since you already have a filter for the 20 gallon I'd say the protein skimmer.

    ok, i may have to put my planted projects for my 5 and 10 gallon on hold so i can save money for a protein skimmer for my puffer, i think that would be more important than real plants, even though i still want to do that

    i found some pretty decent priced skimmers on ebay, i should be able to afford one by then, and still turn my freshwater tanks to planted
