    Actually you can prove it.... there is data that is stored in the image called EXIF data... You can edit it and add your name to it, copyright info etc...

    Locked info on that is your cameras settings, brand, lens info etc...

    okay, but if you can edit it..you can make it anything you want.
    Locked settings (how would anyone know what camera settings, etc that you have).
    I take it discs that you get from your photos have that too?
    Never knew.

    well... the thing is... for instance the photo I submitted was taken from my work computer which just holds a copy of the photo... back when I was dumb I saved it in Photoshop with "Save For Web" and that clears the EXIF data...

    Otherwise the locked info that is stored there, you would have to know the camera that the person uses!

    Oh and the EXIF data in the locked info also tells if you touched it to Photoshop, GIMP etc...
