    Entries are all posted at once. It's not fair for one person to send in a pic and everyone get to see it before the contest begins.

    so ANY pic?

    no theme, no nothing just any pic?

    I agree, post the finalists at once, however how do you get finalists without a vote?

    Ive got thousands of pics, what is the theme? and will this contest breach borders as in fresh planted up against thousands off dollars in reef set ups?

    I got a pic of a 20k gallon malawi tank... from a public aquarium but its still a pic, see what I mean. Im going to send you a pic but again it goes back to what are the themes and stipulations? I understand all the rules for this contest as it is.

    Im just asking to help clarify for others as well as myself.

    Fish pictures... Ones that YOU took of something you currently own or used to own. Once I receive the entries they are posted and you guys vote. Sometimes we have specific themes but not this go around.

    OK, checking cause I am new to this site and was seeing if it was like other photo contests.

    for fairness, id do two contests, one fresh one salt? might even out the playing field a little bit possibly.

    Also, where does this get posted I dont see any pics in this thread yet....do we email them to the webmaster or to you or PM them?


    I read the first post just fine in this thread, I dont have time to read thru 30+ pages to find the right answer or whatnot.

    Ive just never seen a photo contest where its been wide open like this.
    I salute you if you have the time to read that many pages.

    Anthony, you answered the question at hand. Now its just the daunting task of picking the best pic over the past 20 years.

    If you look here: viewforum.php?f=28 You'll see posts such as 10/01/09 Photo Contest, 09/01/09 Photo Contest etc. That's how the entries get posted.

    I got it now. I figured it was a poll vote since we are all remote users lol. I sent mine in a few minutes ago to that email in post #1

    Remind me never to go online after being woken up by a jackhammer outside my bedroom window. it seems I cant even understand my own posts above, sorry for the mindscrew fella's.

    Better yet, HOLD that pic, I get my discus in less then 24 hours and my new rams, lets hold that pic because I think I can produce uber better after they acclimate to the new tank(drip so itll be a while).

    Angels are nice but nothing beats a school of 3" discus.

    Just sent out a reminder about the May 1st contest. I forgot to add that about a week after that contest I will be putting together a "Photo of The Year" contest with '09 entries.
