yup, that's for sure, i may be loosing my job, because business is so slow but i guess its all just wait and see

My theory is, theirs no use in worrying (it won't do you any good)...the best thing you can probably do would be to create a backup plan (money tucked away, job applications in elsewhere, etc).

so when i am ready to buy plants, i was looking online at ebay just now, to see what people are selling, and i had seen some plants that i would like to eventually have in my tanks, anybody have good experience with ebay and live plants

not here. You can read under the store reviews. The only one I had luck with was Mikeswetpets (he has an online store also)...his were awesome!
Petluvrs were horrid and would never deal with him again. Aquaticmagic others have said is good...but takes a really really long time to arrive to your door.

ok, i'll check them out when i'm ready, i saw some ludwig plants on ebay and i liked the redish color or whatever it was and thought it would add some good color to a tank, would it work with a 10 watt flourescent

for any of the "colored" plants (red/pink/orange) you need HIGH light...and usually co2 (flourish excel).

ok, guess i'll scratch that idea as i don't want to have to use co2 and would like to keep plants as easiest maintenence as possible

go with low to low/moderate...you should be okay. Crypts are really easy if you stick a plant tab a few inches away from the root.

ok, i'll look up crypts, is hairgrass a fairly easy plant, i saw one of the petsmarts had them, and figured maybe that would be suitable for the grass type plant that i want

never did them..just read the tag for the light recommendations (you have to remember that they have their plants under high light in that open tank round thingey). When your ready to buy some just ask me and I'll tell you the honest truth of which ones are easiest.
Most crypts, java fern, java moss..are a few that quickly come to mind.

ok, i'm hoping within the next month or month in a half i'll be able to start, i just want to try to plan everything ahead since this will be my first planted, and i don't want all of the money spent on plants to go to waist because of not doing enough research, oh, and the hairgrass was in the tubes

try plantgeek.net (you can see photos and quick stats)...although you probably will have to google their max size..Something you ALWAYS want to keep in mind when buying a plant.

ok, i'll check them out, and since i'll be starting in my 5 i don't mind them overgrowin a little bit, since i would be planning on moving the trimmings into my 10 gallon

Sounds good, but some are constant growers (my p.cabomba's for ex. need to be clipped weekly at about 4" at a time). Darn things took off like jack rabbits.
But then again you could always sell the clippings if they do really well!
Welp, i've got tons to do tomorrow and have to try to catch a few hours.
