planted tank and ich :(

    I have a fish I can't get out of my 55g tank and it has ICH!! I am wondering if I an just add aquarium salt and the ICH remedy straight to the tank

    api aquarium salt and heat, what species is it?

    i have guppies in the tank and a badis burmeses which was the cause of my ich! i know the guppies will do fine with salt/ how will my plants and cherry red shrimps react?

    No salt in a planted tank... The plants won't like that at all.

    I got the fish out finally! I have to tear up the whole tank just to get the SOB out, I was thinking on putting 1 teaspoon per 10g just to kind of make it disappear, guess that won't be a good idea

    IMO you just wasted time by catching the fish. If the fish was in the tank with ich it's very likely it's in the tank itself. Use the heat method above and keep a close eye on your plants, they should be fine though. This will kill any ich in the tank. Remember ich can easily hide on the gills of the fish, where it's hard to see.
