    I was using a compact fluorescent and a separate halide small and upgraded to a newer metal halide pairgy boost and my corals are really taking too it , like an energy boost.

    I have 6 tanks and different set ups on each one From hardware compact to T8's. On a budget so experimenting with different lighting. So far the 100w CF (daylight 6500K bulb) in the clamp on construction lamp is giving the best plant growth. 2 of them on an open top 55 gal.
