So the tank is now up in my room, here are some pics. Sorry for the glare from the window, i think it won't be as bad once there is water and stuff actually in the tank. The backing is window tint used on cars, i think it turned out pretty good.

thanks :) lol at first looking at this tank, it looked kind of small to me, but now that i actually have it up in my smallish sized room, it actually looks like a pretty decent size, i love the fact that i can view it from my bed :D it will look awesome once i get corals and rock and everything in there, i wish i would just get more money, i get paid on the 1st hopefully it will be an ok sized pay check as i have some other bills that i have to pay but hopefully i'll have enough left over so i can get the last of my equipment

so there's going to be one change as far as the equipment goes, instead of the listed skimmer, i'm going to buy the Deltec MCE600 protein skimmer which is a top of the line product *can't wait until i have the funds for it*

Looks sweet... was looking at a similar setup before we found a steal on CL for a 50G.

Like the blinds too, we have the same ones. ;)

thanks! from looking at the back side you can tell its window tint, but looking inside, you can't see anything which is really good, since my wall color is a shade of yellow/cream and i didn't want to see that through the tank

thanks :) yea i wish i could of gotten a 50 but the 46 was all i had room for.

Lol funny about the blinds, the string broke *the one that pulls them up or down* so my dad had to replace it, so he just took the blinds from another room and swithced them, i don't like how heavy the blinds are though

The tank is officially up and running! my parents surprisingly really got into setting up the tank, and helped decide where the rocks go and the sand. I need to get more water next week, i didn't buy enough to fill up the tank. There is also a little bit less than 88lbs of rock, i couldn't use all of it because some pieces were to big.

    Test Results Day 1:
    Salanity- 1.025
    NO2- 0.05
    PH-8.6
    Alkalinity-normal 1.7-2.8
    Nitrate-0
Ammonia-was a blue color, chart didn't have that color? i guess it was high and off the charts then.

    Looks GREAT!
What kind of test kit are you using for the Ammonia?
2nd ...is it a SALTWATER ammonia test kit (they have ones stictly for saltwater, ones strictly for freshwater, and ones that are supposed to be good for both).

I double checked mine and it's api freshwater in a yellow box (chart goes from clear meaning o..all the way to bright yellow).
