once my water becomes more stable, and get the credit card down. I still have a few more important things that i need to get before i get corals. But right now money is really tight.

Now is the time with a marine aquarium (break in) that you will really have the hardest time with algae. Stay on top of the water parm.
(test, test, test) make sure you have good water movement and wait.

yea, i've been testing like crazy. and when i have the money i plan o upgrade my powerheads to the vortech mp10 or mp20. And to take care of the algae on the rocks, instead of getting hermit crabs i'm going to looking to getting a blue tuxedo sea urchin :D

Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp, Red Legged and/or Blue Legged Hermit Crabs make a good crew

here is a pic of my urchin, Pokie from today. I noticed his color has changed from black to dark blue and is really pretty. He's been working on a piece of my skimmer for 3 days now. Green hair algae is getting really bad, i'm hoping that i will be able to get my credit card down when i get paid on monday and order my clean up crew next week.

cyano isin't to bad yet, it's in a few small areas and it's easier to scrub off than the gha. so i'm hoping once i get some clean up crew it wont look as bad
