    I liked the cleaner shrimp too when I had them..I think them,the halloween crabs & the neon blue stripe crabs were all pretty cool.

    i just got my vortech mp 20 for christmas. one of the cords is broken and wires are showing so i will be emailing vortech on monday to exchange this one for another one.

    Pictures are with actinics on. It's amazing how much the zoas move in the flow

    How they send out a $300 pump with a bad cord on it
    I would be P'ed to no end

    It more than likley happened during shipping. I think the cold may have gotten to the cord and made it snap

    went to the lfs today, i went there to mainly get fish but they didnt have the kind i wanted so i decided to get some coral. i got a birdsnest, open brain, and bubble coral. Lights are currently off but here are some pics with my camera's flash

    Nice looking corals
    Is the tank pretty stable now?

    and yea tank parameters are doing great, i will probably end up having to dose for calcium but that's pretty normal.

    And i do a 5 gallon water change once a week.

    found a creepy looking bug on my brain, if you zoom in its right about the black and white cerith snail

    If you can find pickling lime at your local grocery store it's 100% Calcium hydroxide abd far cheaper the aquarium produces that are out there. just FYI

    thanks! the bubble has since doubled in size it was about 3 inches then now it's 6 in length by 4 wide, i'll get some updated pics
