Puffers are really cool but a lot of work, the only thing that sucks about them is you can't have anything else in the tank

You cant keep anything with a puffer? I kept a puffer with my africans for almost a 8 months, before I took the tank down and gave it to an ex.

i heard you can but it's really risky especially when they get older before when i had knew nothing about puffers when i first got liam within a day he had already killed a fish. But they really should be alone so the other fish doesnt get killed.

Yeah, I knew nothing about the thing when I bought it and threw it in a community tank. My neons starting dwindling and the puffer went in with the africans.

Green spotted Puffers go full marine when they are full grown. Mine is with Scats,Monos,Columbian Cat Sharks, and Two Archers. I have a pair of puffers.

how big is your tank? before i new anything about puffers i had him in freshwater with some gouramis, a scat and a catfish, and within 2 days he ate one of my gourami's and my scat so i got rid of the rest of my fish, these guys were in a 20 gall all together, but now he's currently in the 20 gal brackish all by himself and all he does all day is either sleep in the sand or pase up and down along the side of the tank and ive changed his decorations mulitple time and i don't want to invest any more money as far as decorations go
