Question Regarding Algae Eaters & Planted Tanks

    dont think algae botheres the fish

    It doesn't..actually it provides food for them. But at some point you have to cut it back unless you no longer want to see your fish and you want it flowing out of your filter.

    The fish may actually like it. But like dawn said we wont :)

    I have 2 ancistruss and they do the job quite well.. Though When I have a cucumber in the'll leave algea if there is any alone :) I've never catched them eating myplants either,
