Converting Reptile Tank To Fish (How to clean if possible)

I was woundering if you could use a tank for fish that a lizard has lived in or not?

Yes, it just has to be cleaned and checked for leaks.

No differently then the ways described before. Baking soda, bleach, or vinegar and lots of scrubbing.

I've found that people that have aquariums used for reptiles tend to sell them cheaper than aquarists do. You really have to make sure the tank is able to hold water though.

My 55 gallon tank housed an iguana and they guy who had it sold it to me for super cheap. I put a snake in it then it escaped so I decided to just upgrade my small cichlid tank. I used hot water and a lot of rinsing to clean it and havent had any problems with it since.
