    Tank Cycling
OK. So my 75g has been running about 2 weeks now with 6 tiger barbs and a small firemouth.

Been doing a partial water change nearly everyday. Fish look very good and healthy. VERY active and fun to watch. :D

Keeping amonia less than 1ppm. No nitrites or Nitrates and PH is 7.2.

Got some used media from Eric (Littledane) on Friday. :D

Tonite (saturday) I am already showing .25ppm Nitrites. So I guess things are working as they should.

Should I just continue to monitor closely and do small water changes everday?

What is the next thing that will happen? Higher Nitrites? and then Amonia and nitrites will be 0 and i will have small amount of nitrates when cycle is complete?

    Thanks for all the help.....Bill

Yep, keep up the water changes to remove the ammonia and nitrites. Eventually the ammonia and nitrites will begin to drop and nitrates will begin to show up.

Sounds like your doing things right. Just keep up with the water changes and things should be fine.

Yep, coming along nicely. Shouldn't be much longer before it's complete.
