I'm using my fresh water tank light and I was wondering if I can remove the light bulb and replace with a marine light bulb? It's a Coralife Aqualight Single Compact Fluorescent Strip Lights .. thank you

yup, as long as you match the bulb length, type and wattage you can.

you are going to want to upgrade your lighting. t-5 or mh will be your best choice.

I used pc when I first started my tank then switched to t-5. Huge difference(much better) will let you have a much wider coral selection. pc will work but the others will be much better for you.

I used power compact when I had mine...looked great!
But now I've tried both on my freshy..and defin the t-5 is the way to go if you can afford it.
