I would assume so.... I am not a invert expert but I did look those 2 up for my tank (they would have become food so I never got them)..

I would say yes though.... they wont hurt each other and both like similar water conditions...

Amanos and cherry shrimp will be fine together...as will corydoras'
Lucky you on the cory prices...mine run $2.39 - $3.29 for the cheapest tiniest buggers.

HEy are bettas a danger to ghost shrimps? I have a couple of neon tetras in there too, but I'm not too worried about them. My betta's been in a bad mood since the tetras have become brave enough to start fin nipping him ( I've yet to figure out if I can fix this problem -_- help would be loved) and I'm afraid he'll take his anger out on the poor shrimp. I have a couple that are like half an inch in there, probably small enough for an angry betta to tear apart :( My betta's like a huge pig as well and eats anything that's edible.

Also MOD why'd you stop my topic :(, it was on how to take care of baby ghost shrimps not on how compatible ghost shrimps were with other fish :|. Aren't those subjects different enough?

Once Mr. Betta discovers them...it's open season. How much cover do you have in the tank? They may....may....have a chance at survival....but the odds are against them.

Are you serious T_T I have a lotta plants in there, um lets see I have two plastic ones, three large plants, and 2 medium ones. My betta's constantly hungry. Oh yeah I have this chinese vase thing in there too that my betta avoids, maybe the shrimps can hde in there. You don't know how hard it is to keep him just chubby and not full out bloated. GAHHH anyone else have abetta that eats algae pellets -_- Mine's terroizes the otto and steals his food.

It's only a ten gallon though, so I don't think mr shrimp can avoid my betta like they could in a 150 :/

I actually wouldn't worry about the betta eating the shrimp. Maybe some baby shrimp but not the adults, especially since they get to be about 2".

Don't under estimate the power of the betta young jedi. He'll pick at em like a banjo.

gulps :( all of my shrimp are still alive, I took like half an hour looking for them to make sure -_- Mr Betta is hopefully greedy but stupid XD sigh... I gave up on the baby shirmp thing, mam shrimp wasn't looking to happy in the one gallon so I guess her young will have to fend for themselve XD

I'm starting to regret getting a betta -_-" they're such pigs the only time I've ever seen my betta interested in me is in the morning when I feed him and when the aquarium light is on ( also when I feed him :/) He can follow my finger a bit! I just stick a piece of food onto my finger and he follows pretty happily XD My betta's also cellophane so it's gonna be hard to tell if he gets dimmer during some times or not.
