socolofi and his cave

    no matter where we place this cave in the tank, he'll seek it out and claim it. he just loves this cave...a few of the larger fish has tried to evict him but he still gets "his" cave.

    found it in the reptile section at the lps. we've got a smaller one like it on the other end of the tank.

    he may be gorgeous...but he's one mean bugger...he's been "boss" for just over 4 yrs now.

    lol. Maybe that's why he's so pretty? Aren't dominant males usually more colorful? :)

    most dominant males are more colorful. i use to have a bumbblebee (ps. crabro) that went almost jet black when he ruled the tank.
    now if i were to put some females in with him (socolofi), he really colors up.
