    TIGERPERCHES

    General:
The four species, which live in brackish water and in rivers of India, Southeast Asia, and New Guinea, are very popular aquarium fish in Asia.

    Biology:
With their striped pattern, they are extremely well camouflaged in the branches of fallen trees.
As far as is known, they do not practice parental care; young Tigerperches are left on their own to survive into adulthood.
