Ohhhh. That's odd. While I don't like that store they have tanks large enough for him. Wonder why he wasn't in one of them.

who knows.I think i have more fish knowledge then the people that work there. That would be the last thing in the world i'd put with a discus.

    Arowona eats duckling

    <a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cjm_f1pLaUE" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cjm_f1pLaUE</a>

Its cruel to see the sick fish keepers of the world. Why couldn't he buy a a snake so it has no choice but to eat a rat but arowonas can eat flakes.

I dont think a arowana wants to eat a discus, the bigger problem is a foot long fish in a 29!

read it watched it a while back, arowana tend to feed at the surface, surprising their victims, so as long as the discus isnt floating at the top I feel like short term it will be ok.

but thoose arowonas can be some nasty fish sometimes and a discus isn't ready for combat against an arowona anytime

Discus will not be able to contend no, but arowana generally just swallow anything, not really aggressive, the will just swallow anything, lol. I just read a post that crazhrse sent me on another forum where his 6" gulper cat ate his 13" arowana.
