Treatment Question

    I hear ya, been there before..now If it;s a cheapo fish I normally remove it from the tank.
    I keep an extra heater>battery aerator and small bucket handy.

    I have the heater cracked all the way up. Cheap wal mart heater. Have the lights blacked out. Have the Pimafix and the Quick Cure in the tank. Been doing 20% water changes in the tank every other day. All of my tanks are occupied at the moment so I dont really have a QT tank...

    I also have an airstone in there...

    your defin. doing all you can do...I never had a qt tank either, but I have just used 5 gal buckets (like the ones you get at wal-mart) for that occassional special fish (ie fins nipped>Fry).
