Various Cichlids

    Various types of Peacocks and a kenyi (Blue with dark stripes). In the tank I have peacocks, a yellow lab, two kenyi's, a chinese algae eater, rainbow shark, and an upside down catfish.

    I just love the pictures of the Cichlids. Please post more. They are in my opinion, a smarter looking fish than many breeds. I can appreciate those creators!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the pointer to your video. I watched it and really enjoyed it. I recommend it to others as it is so full of beautiful fish.

    I love cichlids and those are awesome I cant wait to get mine set up I am in the proces of getting an octagon tank for them

    Canon Digital Rebel XTi :D It's a pretty awesome camera although if I had a macro lens the picture would be 10 times better.

    they are very pretty. I seen some that i thought were very beautiful but my tank it to small. i have to wait until i get my big one.

    Yeah, African Cichlids usually need a pretty big tank.

    well the fish i want is called Demasoni Cichlid. i seen it online ( with my luck never ever will see in a store).

    Good choice. Those guys only get to be about 4". They're a newer cichlid variety. I believe they were discovered in the early 1990's. They can be kept in a tank as small as 36".

    i thought they were very pretty. maybe some time in the next few months i can get a bigger tank and get me a few.

    lol i see no Discus or angels or a Ram i think someone is just playing favorites

    I had a pair on Rams once. They didn't do so well in my water.
