I've been wanting some for a while now, and since I killed the Tiger Tank I'll be needing to get some Good bottom feeders!
I'm looking to get smaller fish, so I've decided that these are perfect.

Anyone have pygmy corydoras or know where I can order some?

lol, I'm looking to school about 6 in each tank, so I'm wanting about 18. From what I understand the 50 gallon is too deep for them, so I'll be getting just normal Cory for it.

I'll look them up ^^ Thanx dawn

    50g too deep? since when?

Ive got them in a 30" deep tank and they are doing just fine.
A 50g is not too deep, trust me on that. Ive kept them in 3' deep tank before without issues infact they are still alive.
I can buy them all day long here for 3.50 a piece.

depth doesnt bother them much, they shoot to the top faster then normal corydoras do.

    All right then =3
I'm not sure who told me, but some one said that the deeper water makes them skiddish... But I know I can trust you guys! =3

actually ive found shallower waters make them more active.

side note, my paeutus or however its spelled crapped eggs all over my nice clean pristine tank.

thats exactly what they do, old fatty female gets to shaking her fish hip and swimming wildly around the tank then come the 3-7 stooges to hopefully score.

I'm not normally one who complains about getting off topic, but I think this needs it's own thread XD

Did you check the prices Anthony?

Forgot to post that but now I don't remember exactly what they were. $2 something I believe. They were not in stock but they can order them for me and they'd be in next Wednesday. If you want me to call tomorrow and get an exact price I'd be happy to.

BOOOO, its a friday night hijack.
But to get back on topic, pygmy's are A-OK for what we consider deep tanks. They are just dwarfs of their bigger cousins. Due to it being small really has no bearing on its depth requirements.
