No, dont waste the money on a tap water filter, not a pur nor an API tap water filter.

What are you aiming for? RO water is neutral 7.0 ph, how much do you need to produce? apartment or house? where do you have space for it?

well I now have 12 tanks and an indoor 250 gal pond So I would need a larger unit. I live in a house and can either put under the kitchen sink or the bathroom sink it will depend see kitchen sink has much more room.
