seen some unusual activity going on in the 125g and first thought that the oscars and dempsey were fitting. well they were somewhat...they were attacking one of the kids large puzzle pieces and tearing it up. i removed the puzzle piece. when i asked the boys (5yrs & 2yrs) how/who put the puzzle piece in the tank, all i got was "i don't know". i think they both conspired and pled the 5th on me.

Angel---Soo glad to hear all made it safe and sound to you! Hopefully once the albinos grow up they will turn into longfins!

I did a 50% WC (again ) on my 125

a 30% WC on my 20 gallon (that discus that was sick and lethargic is still a bit lethargic but eating MUCH better now by itself)

a 25% WC on my 30 gallon, another spawn is coming SOON! Both have tubes out and the male is cleaning and shaking by the filter intake again (it has been turned off and another filter is on the other side of the tank)

And of course I never say this but another feeding (this is a 3x a day ritual for me )

glad to hear the discus is eating better, and woo hoo on the tubes being out (what is it with fish and intake tubes) Lol!....and I hear ya on the 3x a day feeding (feed 2-3x's a day).

Sitting back and enjoying the variety of fish in the 90g...the angels are doing excellent (leads me to belive those last itty bitty ones I got weren't healthy).

I still dont have my hopes all the way up (its still DEATHLY thin) but it is eating and while cleaning I noticed the poop is brown (A LOT of it!) and not white like it was so that is a GREAT sign. The only thing is I dont think it likes the position of the tank... its under my 30 gallon and only a few inches from the floor so it does NOT like it when I come into the room and goes to the corner but I have caught it roaming the tank MANY times the past few days and it INHALED a chunk of FBW today! I was SO happy!!!

Did I really get a Discus back from this?!?!?! I have lost TOO MANY Discus from the illness this one had!!!! (if I did not loose any I would have about 21 Discus now....... I dont even want to think about that! )

Feedings are fun here... 4 tanks now 3-5x a day, a cat and an African Gray Parrot daily.... that ALL my responsibility. Plus then some of the kids!

The pair I expect to breed again tonight or tomorrow! I should have just sparked them with the WC a few minutes ago... hopefully this spawn I will get 50 from so I can pick my 3-5 and break the pair up already!!!!

haha, I get Both the 90g and 10g...the 2 massive 6 foot chinny cages (+ all 3 chinnies) and all 4 of the dogs to care for....and obviously the 2 kiddos also!

And lets not forget the husband (who should count as the 3rd kiddo) lmdao!

Fun, fun, Fun! But I have my routine...so over the years it's become easier of course

i figured when their mom got home from work that she could get the answer from them has to who put the piece in the tank. they're still sicking to the "i don't know story". i guess we'll never know...lol !!

looking at the 20g and wondering wth happened to the angel eggs !!! they were fine last night,this morning most of them were white?!! the angels are now eating the few that are still ok?!!! ...what makes eggs turn white over night??? they looked light tan and healthy last night.. on a good note,the angels are wasting no time and are doing the "kissy thingy" ..so i should have eggs again in 3-4 days..( or right after lemon gets his) hehehe funny,but true!! both times i got eggs 2 days after lemon got his !!!
also feed everyone and cleaned outside of 55g..the dogs both think the fish in that tank are their pets !!! hate the smudge marks their noses leave on the glass !!

And I think I have enough with my itty-bitty 10 gallon tank (I don't have room for more or bigger). Then I have the "outside" critters--14 goats, 1 cat, and a rabbit....although sometimes the goats are allowed into the house.

Oh, yeah...I fed the fish breakfast, now I'm watching them swim around, and I'll feed them dinner later

white would be fungus (bad eggs) which usually the parents will eat (if not you can attempt to pick them off with tweezers)...you can try one of two things if any viable eggs are left...
1) place an airstone directly in close proximity to the eggs and get a valve to control the amount of air bubbles released (you want very slow/fine bubbles)...this mocks the "fanning". You DO NOT want to knock the bubbles off!
2) Methylene Blue according to the bottles directions
