    TOO MANY DISCUS BREEDING!!!!!!!!!! Trying to think what the heck I am going to do with what I have going on!?!?!?!? I go from relaxing watching my fish to stressing out like there is no tomorrow!!

    air pump on my 10g quit pumping air, had some spare parts from a previous rebuild that worked to get the pump working again.

    Re-siliconing my 30 gallon.... I found a pretty bad leak.... Great, 1 tank less for a day... I had to put ALL Heckels back in the 125

    fed and dosed...even dosed the 10g with excel to see if it helps the fuzzy looking stuff

    fed fish. checked on female that's holding and seen that she had spit out swimmers approx 15 - 20 of them. i fed the fry and their mama, she was really hungry, hasn"t ate in like 3 weeks. watched new fry swim around and chase after food.

    tank maint day today...rinsing pre-filters...scraping any possible algae from the glass...rearranging and pruning plants...partials...dosing...and finally last but not least..Feeding.

    mucking with my heater that went awry (came home and the tank was 83F and the tom alert was beeping)...a couple dashes of prime followed by several cups of ice and turn the dial down until the heater shut off and I think we might be good to go.

    water change on the 55g, rearranged the decor, took the adult female out of the fry tank and put her back into the 55g.

    wow! 2 bulb or 4? and did it come with the bulbs for that price?!?

    <--transferred some of the larger pleco babies into the 90g...transferred another log filled with pleco fry into the 10g again.

    wc on the 125g. added some decor to the fry tank for hiding places and put the other 2 fry from the 5g and put them in the 10g.

    Moved the potential show fish inside to fish room so I continue grooming for the Atlanta show at the end of the month.
    Did a major 1/2 cleaning of one of the filters for one of the fish sheds this morning. Not a small under taking, but thank goodness, I don't have to do this very often.

    water changes on all 3 tanks..took the 20g from the girls room and swaped it with the 10b (they like the lighting better on the 10) moved 3 bristlenose from the 20g to the 55g..and started looking for a new home for the giant danios..any takers?

    Made fish food last night

    Seafood Mix
    1/2 lb Fresh Raw Tilapia
    1/4 lb Fresh Raw Salmon
    6 Medium US Wild Shrimp Raw
    1 Overripe Banana
    1 Clove Garlic
    Handful of Tetra Color Bits
    4 Baby Carrots
    about 1 leaves of spinach
    4 Flinstone Vitamins

    Basically you puree it all up and freeze it... Yummy!

    I will see if the Discus like it today.

    no, the banana gellies the mixture. It comes out a sticky congealed goo out of the food processor.

    I fed it to a few tanks today and they did eat it.

    My 20, 30, and 55 gallon tanks.... Still yet to test it on my wilds.
