    cleaned the 90g filters, did the partial on it (yes, I know...a day overdue), and hooked up the other xp4.
    Sadly, the jb weld didn't hold the crack in the bolt/nut on the uv :(

    Tomorrow the 10g will get it's partial and I'll browse about for any bigger fry (which will be put in the 90g).

    did wc on the 3 tanks, cleaned 1 of the filters on the 125 and had to straighten out the the decor. i stared a new job on 9-16-09 and haven't been home much the last couple of days and i guess the oscars & jd missed my attention so they decided to mess things up in the tank to get me to take the time and fix it.

    125 - 100%
    50 - 50%
    30 - 90%
    20 - 75%


    All Discus are now eating the homemade Frozen Seafood Diet I made for them a few days ago. They tear that stuff up like there is no tomorrow!!!

    Also on my 125 I picked off Algae, cleaned the glass, the sand, vacuumed my driftwood (it was collecting debris) and dropped my lighting down to 64 watts from over 200 watts in hopes to stunt the algae growth (gotta love having a multiple stage lighting setup :D )

    50 % wc on the 20g again !!! (want to see if the angels will spawn again )
    60% wc on the 10 g...the thing is always cloudy

    is the 10g cycled...I know mine was cloudy before it was (used tetra safe start on it)....24 hours later and it cleared up really nice.
    You can also grab a product called Seachem Clarity for rapid clearing of the water.

    What type of filtration do you have on the 10g? Maybe that's your issue?

    I'm in the process of adding the larger inhabitants of the 10g into the 90g.
    Feeding and dosing with what little I have left also.

    i have a aqua clear for a 20 g tank on it..
    i started the tank with seachem stability..it was ok and is now cloudy.? could be the planted driftwood?!

    also dosed my 55g with melafix..the giant danios now have white lips..

    Did 35% water changes on 4 tanks today. Added a new filter to my new 45 gallon hex tank. Will be posting new pics soon...

    trying to get motivated to do the partial on the 90g and finish sterilizing the 10g...(both should have been done by now), but I think I'll hold off until tomorrow...just feeling Blah today.

    Just got a 75g in trade for setting up a 10g for a friends daughter...holds water too!! Gonna set it up for the clown loaches.. working my way to the 125 for them!!

    doing a partial on the 90g...mysteriously lost 2 angelfish despite the water testing well...and noticed a koi hanging in the back today. Low and behold the one hanging in the back has stringy white poo (hexamita).
    CLOUT:

    Effective medication for the treatment of parasitic and protozoan infestations of fresh water and salt water aquarium fish. Treats: Ick, Hydra, Leeches, Planaria, Hexamita, Epistylis, Trichondina, Tetrahymena, Body Fungus, Argulus (Louse), Flukes and Anchor Worms. 1 Tablet for every 10 gallons every 24 hours for 4 days.

    Hoping he/she's not too far gone (*Bleep* that lfs!)

    staring at the 3, yes I said 3...remaining angels that are doing excellent....they'll be going back to the 90g tomorrow and partials will be done then. So, for now I am feeding the angels :)

    I just finished a partial on the 90g...Picked up 3 small clown loaches and added them (when/if they get too big I can always trade them back to the lfs).

    I removed the angels from the 10g and put them back in the 90g...then I stripped the 10g apart and disinfected it because I was leary of the clout still remaining and being theirs no way to test for it I thought it best to disinfect everything!

    Reset the 10g back up and picked up a coconut cave that had java moss growing on it from petco for $10.99 and tossed in a bottle of safestart just in case :)
