    Bought more plants and added them to my display... Impulse buy.... Gotta love delivery day at my LFS!!! I have a bad habit of buying stuff before they even fully inventory it into the store! :)

    my oscars has gotten me a few times, not to the point that they drew blood but enough that i knew they ment business. the one in my avatar has had my index finger in his mouth almost up to the second knuckle.

    depending on their mood, when i'm cleaning the tank i can sometimes pet mine.

    I have my oscar in a 90 in the home, she hates everyone and everything she attacks the Python at water change time and you can forget trying to aquascrape the aquarium she has that under control too. She does however play with ping pong balls

    I have my oscar in a 90 in the home, she hates everyone and everything she attacks the Python at water change time and you can forget trying to aquascrape the aquarium she has that under control too. She does however play with ping pong balls

    Just finished a partial, "cleaning" the filters and replacing some of the media, adding plant stuff & prime, and scraping off the walls of the 90g.

    The 10g got it's walls scraped too--it'll get its partial and media later this evening.

    I just emptied my 20 gallon tank as I think I have water quality issues keeping the eggs from hatching... 5 days and the eggs were fertile but did not hatch and had the furry fungus over them... the parents gave up cleaning them I guess...

    Well the 20 is now a bare bottom tank so that wont happen again... I am trying to get motivated to do the same to my 30 gallon breeding tank but this one I dont have the same issues with so there is less of a demand to do it...

    The 20 gallon has no more algae growth on the glass :)

    30 is now a bare bottom too... with clean filters...

    I have prespawn activity already in the 20 gallon... guess they like the crystal clear water!

    did water changes on all tanks, filter maint on one of the filters on the 125. found the skeletal remains of my kenyi in the 55g...did and extra good cleaning of this tank along with one of the filters that had sucked up some of the remains.

    From last night... but it was done really late...

    I cleaned my Magnum on my 125... also polished my stand...

    I had a HIGH PH (7.4) on my 125 before doing a 90% water change Saturday... I added Peat Moss to the Magnum and tested this morning... PH is at 6.6 today... I want to get it down to 5.5-6.... hopefully soon... :confused:

    Water-changes on my 20 and my 30.... eggs in the 20 and a VERY high fertilization ratio! I think the bare bottom tank is doing well! We will see in 2 more days...

    Finished morning feedings... still have fertile eggs in the 20... tomorrow hopefully... This is such a rollercoaster ride TRYING to breed these fish!

    water changes for both the 90g and the 10g (did a day early),
    prefilters rinsed on both, and a new cartridge was put in the 10g's filter.
    Plus obvious feeding and dosing as usual.

    Im takin off today, other than just watching them on occasion. :) i did all my water changes, and tank vacs,yesterday, so today they are on their own.
